Trackballs

Purpose: Recommended when there is little or no workspace available for traditional input devices such as a mouse. A trackball can perform the same functions as a mouse, yet requires less space.

Ergonomic principles: When using a trackball, the hand or fingers move the ball, not the entire device, thereby reducing extended reaches and hand and arm fatigue.
