HUMANTECH ANNOUNCES STAFF ACHIEVEMENTS AND THE ADDITION OF NEW STAFF

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Humantech, Inc. is proud to announce that staff members Susan Shaw, Greg Cresswell and Kevin Perdeaux have all been awarded the CPE (certified professional ergonomist) designation from the Board of Certified Professional Ergonomists (BCPE).  To date, just over 1,500 professionals have successfully met the BCPE’s certification criteria and have been awarded these credentials.  The BCPE is the certifying body for individuals whose education and experience indicate a broad expertise in the practice of human factors and ergonomics.  The criteria for certification as a CPE are as follows: a Master’s degree in Human Factors / Ergonomics / User Experience, or an equivalent education in life sciences, engineering sciences and behavioral science to comprise a professional level of ergonomic education; three years of full-time professional experience; and a passing score on the certification exam. Currently, Humantech, Inc. has the largest consulting group of board-certified professional ergonomists in North America and their combined experience spans over three decades.

Humantech is also pleased to announce the addition of new staff members to their team.  Technical writer and editor Brigitte Johnston will edit reports, publications, and marketing materials, and will be a valuable resource in e-learning product development.  Michael Hoonhorst joins the ergonomics consulting team.  He comes to us with a master’s degree in industrial engineering and is an Associate Ergonomics Professional (AEP).  Jennifer Sinkwitts will lead public relations and marketing communications efforts and will manage the public seminars and tradeshow schedule.
